About Deva Group

Deva Group’s business concept is to invest in and develop small and medium-sized companies within the Swedish manufacturing sector, and consultancies in the IT and technology sectors. Our strategy is to be a long-term owner and to exploit our extensive branch expertise and the strong network within the Deva Group. Together with the portfolio company’s executive management and staff, our aim is to create growth and increase the value of the company.

Deva was started in 1999 in Västerås Science Park by Stelio Demark and Per Vannesjö, both of whom had worked for many years in ASEA and ABB.  The idea was to create a privately-owned investment company which would invest mainly in IT, info-media and high-tech service companies. Since 2006 the scope of investment has widened to include Swedish manufacturing companies.

During the first 10 years the company has invested in about 15 objects. Of these the Deva Group still owns 5 companies (under 3 trade marks). These investments have together provided a very good return on investment for the owners.  From 2004 the Deva Group has been owned by Stelio Demark, via DeVenture AB, Olof Sand and Johan Söderström. (See Team, above, for more information)

The companies within the Deva Group have a turnover of about 150 MSEK and approximately 100 employees.
